QAT Global, a long-term partner with the State of Nebraska, is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Java Developer.  Position will be supporting the Health and Human Services Agency located in Lincoln, NE.

Under general direction the Sr. Developer will be responsible for all phases of development and maintenance on assigned computer applications; communicates with business analysts to determine system requirements; researches system enhancements and problems; performs analysis and design of computer applications; performs programming and testing; performs related work as assigned.

Sr. Developer works directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Designs, codes, tests and documents computer programs.

Sr. Developer will have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications development and the development technologies utilized. Provide production support for large, complex applications including the ability to resolve problems in constrained timeframes.

Sr. Developer  may be responsible for mentoring less experienced team members. May lead small-to-medium projects or components of larger projects.


  • 5+ years software development experience, including broad exposure to the software development life-cycle.  Multiple years of experience within a large IT Shop.
  • Must have Eclipse, J2EE, JDBC, XML, JSP , JSF, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Application Server, MS Project, Linux, AS400, HTML5 LDAP and Public health experience beneficial.
