Omaha has the perfect mix of big city amenities with beautiful hiking trails and lakes nearby. Want to walk your pup around a lake without having to drive an hour out of the city? You have plenty of options to do that in Omaha. Our favorite lake to go to for a run or afternoon kayak is Lake Zorinsky.
Bison, wolves, and bears, Oh My! Our Safari park offers a very different feeling than the zoo. If you are from a bigger city, there is nothing your kids will love more. The Safari Park has driving and walking trails that allow you to hear and see animals in a natural environment. From bison roaming, elk playing, and wolves roaming in and out of caves, it offers an outdoor fun experience you could never get at a zoo.
