The Taste of Omaha is a 3-day summer tradition that takes place every year for the past 23 years. Benson Days is a family-friendly event held in July each year in the heart of Omaha Benson. The iconic Street Festival is in honor of the neighborhood’s creative culture and includes a parade, a variety of street vendors, art, music, children’s activities, and a beer garden. The festival is a two-day event starting on Saturday with a pancake feed and on Sunday with Indie 5 & 10K races. The proceeds acquired from Benson Days goes to support neighborhood projects each year.

The CWS is the pinnacle of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Baseball Championship tournament of 64 teams at first leading to a national championship. Omaha has hosted the College World Series since 1950. Originally taking place at Rosenblatt Stadium, the CWS got a new home field in 2011 - TD Ameritrade. Located in the heart of downtown Omaha, the CWS takes place from June 15-June 26, and is Omaha's largest most profitable event, surpassing 300,000 visitors each year.
