Benson Days is a family-friendly event held in July each year in the heart of Omaha Benson. The iconic Street Festival is in honor of the neighborhood’s creative culture and includes a parade, a variety of street vendors, art, music, children’s activities, and a beer garden. The festival is a two-day event starting on Saturday with a pancake feed and on Sunday with Indie 5 & 10K races. The proceeds acquired from Benson Days goes to support neighborhood projects each year.

College World Series

The CWS is the pinnacle of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Baseball Championship tournament of 64 teams at first leading to a national championship. Omaha has hosted the College World Series since 1950. Originally taking place at Rosenblatt Stadium, the CWS got a new home field in 2011 - TD Ameritrade. Located in the heart of downtown Omaha, the CWS takes place from June 15-June 26, and is Omaha's largest most profitable event, surpassing 300,000 visitors each year. Aside from the actual games going on, tents around the stadium are set up for the entire week with games, team merchandise, souvenir shops, tasty food, beer, live music, and much more.
