Brent Hodgen, Human Resources Manager

Brent has over 11 years of Human Resource experience. He joined QAT in 1999 as the Human Resource Manager. Prior to joining QA Technologies he worked within a mid sized Property and Casualty Insurance carrier as a HR Generalist. Mr. Hodgen received his BA in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Early in his Human Resources career he earned his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and has continued to maintain his designation for the last 9 years.

Areas of Expertise:

• Heavy concentration in Application Development resources. Stay current in traditional Mainframe, Client Server, Model Based and Web Based Technologies.
• Knowledgeable on Government Clearances for IT and other applicable positions which we are engaged to recruit for.

Personal Interests: Advocacy for those with Special Needs. Family, Running and Golf.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is meeting some interesting IT people in multiple fields within IT. Most of the time IT folks are modest, easy going and willing to hear me out on a particular position. Once hired to QA Technologies I enjoy seeing the staff member’s progression in their particular IT field. We have a lot of Consultants celebrating service awards of 5,7,10 and even soon 15 years of service with QA Technologies.
