Alex Barros, Director of New Technology Development and Brazil Liaison Manager

As Director of New Technology Development, Alex focuses on product related solutions. He is responsible for guiding and managing the development of new technology within the QAT labs and frequently consults with customers to understand the challenges they face. He also applies his deep technical knowledge across multiple platforms as he develops proof of concept models in order to evaluate new technology and how it can be applied to QAT products and services.

As Brazil Liaison Manager, Alex facilitates and coordinates operations with the QAT Brazil team.

He earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from UFRJ-Brazil and his Master in Business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Areas of Expertise: CA Gen, data modeling, systems analysis and design, application development

Personal Interests: Music, reading and playing ping-pong.

What Do You Like About Information Technology?

Information technology is an ever changing field that constantly provides challenges and rewards.
